Rustic River Media 2019 Outdoor Film School

Rustic River Media presents the 2019 Outdoor Film School. Join us on May 17-19 for a one-of-a-kind film school geared toward the hunting industry where in three days outdoor filmmaker Joshua Milligan will teach you how to create a video from concept to final production.

The course will be held at the historic Calhoun Ranch, home of L&L Adventures, in Wimberley, Texas. In just three days students will learn how to storyboard, shoot and edit a professional outfitter marketing video. Working together as a team, students will work with Josh to design and produce a website video for L&L Adventures.

Students will learn storyboarding, filming basics, advanced shooting techniques, how to write a script and how to piece a concept together in post-production. When you leave this event, you will be able to take the skills you learn and apply them to your own outdoor video productions. Whether you’re new to video or are a seasoned vet, everyone who attends is guaranteed to learn more about the art of filmmaking.

Tickets cost $1,200 with a $600 non-refundable deposit to book. The remaining half is due upon arrival at the ranch on the morning on May 17, 2019. Tickets include three nights of lodging at the Calhoun Ranch (May 17, 18 & 19th) as well as food, drinks and snacks. There will be breaks during the day as well as cold drinks and campfire stories in the evenings.
